My version of Project Life-
I always thought Project Life sounded intimidating, but I decided to give it a try this year. My album will be different than other Project Life albums. First of all, I'm not scrapping every day of our boring lives, and maybe not even every week. I do hope to do a page a week, but it will be less like a journal, and more like a scrapbook page. Just whatever interesting little things happened that day/week. I am not a great scrapper. That huge 12x12 space freaks me out! lol So when I figured out that with Project Life, I could just make a bunch of little cards and turn those into a page, I got really excited to start. I ordered a variety of page protectors and couldn't wait to get them. I already had 4 pages ready to go when they arrived in the mail today. I put my pictures and cards in the little pockets, and I hated how it looked! Stuff was falling out, you could see through the cracks to the next page, Color from the other side of the page was showing, UGH! It was a mess. So bummed. So I thought why don't I just adhere them to cardstock instead??? ahhhh so much better! So this is my version of project life. Lots of pictures and pretty papers, the typical 3x4, 4x6 cards/pics, hybrid designs, not a lot of journaling because I hate writing, and NO pockets! =D
I like this idea of project life. Very pretty pages.."A" or not :)
