Uniko Studio April Inspiration Challenge

Good morning, friends!  It's the 11th, which means time for a new Uniko Studio Inspiration challenge!  These are not colors I normally use, so this was definitely a challenge for me.  I chose to use the fabulous Pure Florals Gerbera stamp set, along with All Occasion Sentiments #1 for my card.  Once it was colored, I added a simple green bow and matted it with a shimmery green cardstock.  I added enamel dots to the corner and adhered it to my square card base.

Thanks for stopping by today!  Stop by the Uniko Studio Blog for all the details!

Paper Sweeties April Release Rewind!

Wow!  So many great projects from the Paper Sweeties design team this week!  I have one last Paper Sweeties card to share with you.  Doesn't Jake look sweet all dressed up for graduation!?  Reminds me of my graduation which happened to be 19 years ago.  Holy moly, it seems like yesterday.  I don't know how 19 years have gone by already. Before I know it, my KIDS will be graduating from High School. =O
I used the new Sweet Cuts - Beautiful Little Wishes die to cut my "you did it!" tag.  These little tags will be so useful on future projects too!

Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge- Confetti Crush

We have a fantastic new sponsor, Reverse Confetti, for the Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge: Confetti Crush!  The LEAD of this challenge will receive a gift certificate to the Reverse Confetti store!

Wow!  What a great inspiration photo!  With all of the bright colors, it's right up my alley!  I must admit, this was my first Reverse Confetti stamp set, but it won't be my last.  I LOVE these stamps!  Simple designs, and amazing fonts and sentiments. Love love love!  I chose to work with the Celebrate Cake stamp set. I started by stamping my cupcakes in bright colors on to white cardstock. Next I stamped my sentiment and colored it to match my cupcakes. I added some enamel dots to the corners and matted it with black cardstock, then adhered it to a black card base.

The Curtain Call is over the moon that the owner of Reverse Confetti, Jen del Muro, is joining us today for the Confetti Crush challenge.

Paper Sweeties April Release Party!

Back again, with another peek at the new Paper Sweeties April release. I used sentiments from both Happy Everything, and ConGRADulations on this card.  This isn't your typical 4th of July card full of stars and stripes, but I still incorporated lots of red, white and blue!

Thanks for stopping by, and don't forget to come back tomorrow for another peek at the new Paper Sweeties goodies!

Peachy Keen Stamps & Miss Kate Cuttables Co-Hop!

I had so much fun making this card with Miss Kate Cuttables.  I don't use a ton of cut files on my cards, but I should do it more often because they produce such great results!  For this card I started by making a circle mask, and stamping my Chicken Wire stamp over it on to the white cardstock layer. Next I used my Cameo to cut my Valentine Bee and Heart Border which I adhered over my stamped chicken wire (which also happens to look like honeycomb.)  Then I stamped my sentiment using Peachy Keen Stamps' new Retro Alphabet stamp set.  I colored the letters to match my bee, and finished it off with a black and white twine bow.  All the corners were rounded, and then adhered to a red card base. (Yes, I know it's crooked.  Argh!) =P

Visible Image- You Rock!

Happy Saturday!  I hope you are having a great weekend. =D  I had some fun playing with my Max Rocks stamp set from Visible Image.  I just LOVE the texture of these bricks. Way cool!  Also, they are super easy to line up because none of them are perfectly straight, which I love.  Once my bricks were stamped, I stamped my sentiment with black pigment ink and then heat embossed it with clear embossing powder to add some more texture. I love that it looks like graffiti on the wall.  Next I stamped and cut my skull and adhered it over a strip of polka dot paper near the top.  I matted my wall with black cardstock and adhered it to a white card base.  I love how this turned out and I think it would be a perfect pick-me-up card for one of my boys who are 13 and almost 12. =D

Thank you for stopping by today!
