Art Journal- Owl I want for Christmas

I've been having tons of fun playing with my Dylusions Ink Sprays.  I've gotten the best results when I use only two different colors.  Make sure you use two colors that will make another color when they blend. Pink+blue= purple.  That way you get three colors for the price of two! If you have any questions on how this was done, please leave a comment! =)

Visible Image- Season's Greetings

Visible Image

Hello!  I've got a simple Christmas card to share with you today. =)
I started by inking up my edges with Distress Ink.  Next I roughed up the edges with a distress tool.
I stamped my snowflake and heat embossed it with a clear sparkly embossing powder.  The sentiment was stamped under the snowflake in black ink. Lastly, my card front was adhered to my card base with foam adhesive.

That's all for today, thank you for stopping by!

Uniko Studio Challenge

Hey guys!  Time for a new Uniko Studio challenge!  This color combo was tough for me, but they don't call it a challenge for nothin'!  =)  Color challenges are fun because most of the time they are colors I'd never reach for on my own.

+ Texture

I started by applying molding paste over the woodgrain stencil onto my cardstock.  I love the texture that molding paste gives!    I didn't have cardstock that matched the yellowish color, so I used a Copic marker and colored some white cardstock.  I stamped my sentiment (All Occasion Sentiments #4) and used a square Spellbinders die to create the sentiment banner.  Next I used my Stunning Snowflake dies to cut snowflakes from the same color cardstock as my card base. Once everything was attached to my card, I added a little glitter to random spots.
