Uniko Studio Challenge

Hey guys!  Time for a new Uniko Studio challenge!  This color combo was tough for me, but they don't call it a challenge for nothin'!  =)  Color challenges are fun because most of the time they are colors I'd never reach for on my own.

+ Texture

I started by applying molding paste over the woodgrain stencil onto my cardstock.  I love the texture that molding paste gives!    I didn't have cardstock that matched the yellowish color, so I used a Copic marker and colored some white cardstock.  I stamped my sentiment (All Occasion Sentiments #4) and used a square Spellbinders die to create the sentiment banner.  Next I used my Stunning Snowflake dies to cut snowflakes from the same color cardstock as my card base. Once everything was attached to my card, I added a little glitter to random spots.

Hey there!  I finally got a chance to play with my Fae Hope set. =D
I started by inking the edges of the shimmer cardstock with pink Distress Ink.  Next I stamped my wings and sentiment in black ink.  I stamped, colored, and cut-out Fae, and adhered her over the wings. Lastly, I added my shimmer layer to a bright green card base.

That's all for today, thank you for stopping by!

Paper Sweeties October Release Party!

Good morning, Paper Sweeties fans. =)
I've been doing a lot of art journaling lately, so I used my little 3x5 journal to create this page.  I started by adhering scraps of paper to my polkadot layer, and inking up the edges with Distress Ink.  I stamped and die cut the tree and presents, and also die-cut my sentiment.  Aren't those little presents the cutest!!??  Once I was done, I just stuck it in my little journal.  I love doing this because then I can keep it forever.  (I'm horrible about actually SENDING the cards I make. =)
