Visible Image- Neon Butterfly

Visible Image

Happy Saturday!  Today I am sharing a card using two of my favorite Visible Image stamps; Large Butterfly, and Live Your Dreams.  I'm totally diggin' neon colors these days, so this card was a lot of fun to make.  I started by stamping my sentiment and coloring it in with fluorescent copic markers.  Then I stamped my butterfly using hero arts neon pink ink.  Next I inked the edges with Hero Arts neon blue ink.  I created the look on top by laying down a strip of lace to use as a mask, and then sprayed over it with Dylusions ink spray.  I tied some black and white twine around my card and adhered it to a black card base.

That's all for today, thank you for stopping by!

Uniko Studio July Challenge

Hello!  Our Uniko Studio challenge this month is Anything Goes.  My favorite!  =D  Bev is offering a great prize this month so you are going to want to play along!!!
This card all started with the book paper.  I had a big puddle of watered down white paint on my kraft mat from a different project, so I sopped it all up with a book page.  I keep an old book near by just for this reason.  I used watered down dye ink mixed with Perfect Pearls to color my butterfly (English Country Garden: Butterflies), ink the edges of the page and also to dye my ric rac strip which is from DCWV Fabric Stack.  I inked the edges of my sentiment strip with a purple pigment ink pad and adhered it to my card.  I added the fabric strip which is adhesive backed to my card and layered the butterfly on top

Thanks for stopping by!

Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge- Anything Goes

I'll start off by saying No, I am not a Star Trek Fan! lol  I do love this quote though. =)
I used Uniko Studio's Label Love; Birthday stamp set to stamp my balloons onto white cardstock.  The Happy Birthday sentiment is from the same set.  Next I stamped my large sentiment, in black pigment ink, with Uniko Studio's Classic Alphabet stamp set and then embossed it with black embossing powder.  I rounded the corners and adhered it to a black card base.  Quick and easy!

Now, it's your turn!  To enter the challenge, simply follow these instructions:

1.  Create a new paper project (card, scrapbook page, 3D item) based on the inspiration photo.

Visible Image- Corset

Visible Image

Hey there!  The card I am sharing today was lots of fun to make. I started by randomly spritzing white cardstock with an aqua Glimmer Mist.  (I did the same with the sentiment tag.) Next I used pink acrylic paint to stamp my Grunge Polka Dot background.  I also "inked" the edges with the same pink paint, and then inked again, once it was dry, with  Tea Dye Distress Ink. I also inked the edges of the sentiment tag, and added a stitched border to the top of the tag with a black pen.  I stamped my sentiment (from the Chandelier stamp set), and added 3 pink pearls to the bottom. I stamped my Corset , with Versamark, on a separate piece of paper that I had spritzed with pink Glimmer Mist, and then heat embossed using Tim Holtz Distress embossing powder.  I inked the edges with the tea dye ink, adhered to my card, and outlined it with a black pen.

That's all for today, thank you for stopping by!

Uniko Studio - Pure Florals: Chrysanthemum revisited - Blog hop

Hello!
This month, the Uniko Studio team is revisiting Pure Floarls: Chrysanthemum stamps & dies.

Lately, I've been really into painting, spritzing, and splattering. =D  I figured out a fun new technique to color images really fast. (I'm sure I'm not the first .) Fill a mini mister about half full with water, add several drops of ink from a (dye ink) reinker, shake it up, and spray!  Obviously, the more ink you add to your mister, the more vibrant your color will be.
I started by die-cutting and stamping my flower and leaves.  I spritzed the center of the flower with an aqua ink, and spritzed the edges with fuchsia ink, then I inked the edges of the flower with a fuchsia pigment ink pad.  The leaves were even easier.  I spritzed them with a light-ish green ink, and then added a few drops of a darker green ink to the same mister and spritzed the leaves again, making sure not to cover the entire thing. Voila!  Quick, easy, and tons of fun. =)

That's all from me today!

How about some inspiration from the FABulous Design Team:
